Wolfie
Hi,
I would have responded sooner with an update but I got your follow up email the day we were at the vet. It took three vet visits but Wolfie, now Valiant, is doing fantastic.
His favorite things are probably a tie between playing fetch in the yard and playing with my friend's very sweet lab/husky. He is still a shy guy but when he is at home he knows he is safe and after a few minutes warms up to company.
He gets along very well with my two cats. They are only about 2 years old but were born blind so they are fans of the slow approach as well. He plays very gently with Nimbus, while Crowley prefers to stay out of the action.
Valiant is a little slow on the uptake with things like tricks but is very well behaved with the basics. Since so much of the time when he first came to live here was spent just getting him to feel comfortable I consider him no longer hiding in his crate all the time a huge accomplishment. I remember it took about two weeks before I ever saw him even wag his tail, it is always going these days.
I adore my little man and am so happy to have been able to make a home for him where he feels safe and happy.
When he first came home:
