Enter

Hello, Enter, now known as Axel, is doing good. Currently the only issues we are having with Axel is the chewing faze (he's ripped jeans, shirts, balls, toys and shoes), and his biting faze. He does his puppy bite on the kids and they get scratched from his teeth, but that doesn't stop them from playing with Axel. Axel has also come into the habit of digging holes by my fence. He has escaped more than 5 times but as soon as I call his name he comes running back. We are currently looking for options to stop this from happening. Potty training is a little frustrating. My kids have a lot of fault in that. We are trying to crate train him as recommended by the Vet. However my kids keep opening the crate and letting him out. I'm sure as Axel and my kids get older we will be able to fix this problem. Other than that, Axel has been Great. :) Obviously we have the frustration that comes with having a puppy but we love him regardless. He is a great addition to our home and I can't wait to see how he changes. The Vet doesn't think he is a Dachshund mix, but I assured him he was per the adoption papers. Axel is very small. Currently weighing about 5 pounds, but he eats well. Thank you guys again for giving us the opportunity to adopt him. :) Please let me know if there is anything else you'd like to know. Thank you, Maricellis
