Bria
Hi Kathy & The Justin Bartlett Team,
Bria, now known as Willow, is adjusting great into our little pack! She is
quite the feisty little ball of cuteness. We recently found out that she
loves to jump into the cat tree and relax lol! She goes everywhere with us
and gets to enjoy watching our kids in kungfu 3 times a week. Willow has a
ridiculous amount of toys already and has a little wardrobe started
(mostly purchase by my husband lol). We are going to be enrolling her into
some classes to help her become the best Willow she can be! I am always
capturing memories of our furry family, I will be attaching a few of her.
Thank you again for giving us this wonderful furry ball of joy :)

Glee
Glee is adjusting beautifully. She had the last of her puppy boosters yesterday and
got her rabies vaccine so now she has her county tag as well as her ID tag. At
almost 4 months she weighs in at 24 pounds (she was 12 pounds when we adopted her at
2 1/2 months on March14). She sleeps well in her kennel at night and potty
training is going well. She is one energetic puppy and always happy so she lives up
to her name of Glee. She is fascinated by our 2 cats, Midnight and Stormy, and
gradually learning that we don't chase cats in the house but its OK to chase
squirrels, bunnies and lizards outside (we have 1 1/4 acres completely fenced in so
there is lots of opportunity for play). We're planning to start obedience training
classes next week with a trainer our vet recommended. Glee is definitely a wonderful
addition to our family and we're so grateful for the opportunity to adopt her
through your organization and the wonderful fostering she got until she was ready
for her forever home.

Wesley
Dear Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue Team,
We adopted Wesley 3/18/17 and it has truly been the best decision we ever
made. We had been looking for a dog to adopt for almost a year. I wanted a
Golden Retriever and my husband wanted a small dog so it was hard to find a
compromise. I was watching your site regularly as well as many others
(i.e.Treasure Coast Humane Society). When I saw Wesley and the rest of his
litter on-line I fell in love immediately. They were all adorable but he
was just perfect. He is a Corgi Chihuahua but looks like a great deal like
a Golden Puppy. Since he is small (only 4 pounds at 3 months) my Husband
fell in love immediately as well. We found the application process through
the website very easy and efficient. I applied and had an answer within the
hour and was able to pick him up the next day...amazing! We wanted to name
him Kaline, after the old Detroit Tiger player, Al Kaline. So, his official
name now is Wesley Kaline Randall Parsons (WKRP...like the old TV show). It
suits him as he is a showman. He started puppy class Monday 4/17 and did
great even with all the big dogs around him. He's a puppy so he's
rambunctious but is also very loving and has an amazing personality. He
loves playing fetch and new how to do it from day 1. He loves bones and
treats so he's training easily. He already knows "drop it", "sit" and "no".
He doesn't always comply with "no" yet but he's getting better. He's super
smart already. Our biggest challenge has been getting our 17 year-old
feline fur baby, Sugar, and Kaline adjusted to one another They are getting
a little better all the time as well. Our family is extremely thankful for
the work you do that allowed us to be united with our newest fur baby.
I've attached a couple pictures of Kaline so you can see how he's doing.
He's the absolute cutest puppy I've ever seen. We love him beyond words!
Waldo
We love cookie so much! He is part of the family and we wouldn't know
what to do without him.
He likes to lick and lick and lick on us to show his affection back to us.
