Tonka
Thank you for the follow-up regarding Tonka whose new name is Ralphie :)
Ralphie is doing great, up-to-date on all his shots and growing at a fast speed. Ralphie is about 20 lbs now and is enjoying his new life with his big brother Charlie (formerly known as Jaffe), who I rescued from your organization on July of 2017.
Weâre very happy with Ralphie and Charlie.
Yale
Hi,
Thanks for checking on Yale. "Yale" is now âCharlieâ and he is doing really well! Iâll attach some photos. He is almost potty trained and Can sit and give high fives.
In his pamphlet it says lab mix but I think he is boarded collie. Do you know more info about him? Do you have any early photos of him?
Jewels
Hello Kathy!
We are happy to report that Jewels is doing very well! We are working with a trainer and Jewels is now able to walk on a leash, knows â sit, stay, toilet and comeâmostly in American Sign Language. We are currently teaching her to climb stairs and we are working on a treadmill to coordinate her front and back legs and we are teaching her to climb the stairs. We will start swimming when the pool warms up a bit to help with her coordination. Sheâs a sweet, exhuberant pup and sheâs learning to fit into the âblondetourage â. (All our pets have white fur!). I will forward a picture and or video.
Thanks
Laura Walsh
Adelaide
Good morning!
Adelaide is the perfect addition to the family! Her name is now Selkie (In Irish folklore, selkies are kind of like mermaids) and she is getting along great with the kids and with our adult male Black Mouth Cur mix, Murphy. She loves to cuddle with Daddy and play tug-of-war with Murphy. We love that she looks like a little copy of him! I will continue to update with pictures as she grows up!
Pepperdine
He is still picking up walking on a leash. He prefers having free reign in the back yard. His favorite toy is a squeaky cow. He likes his brothers dog food more than his own.
He is very strong but still a little goofy. He can jump up on the bed and the couch but he still has puppy balance so he falls all over the place.
Heâs incredibly soft and a great cuddler. He is a nibbler and a talker. If you annoy him, he grunts. If you ignore him, he barks. When heâs happy, he pants. He makes his emotions known!
Weâre very happy to have him as a part of our family. I know he loves it here too. Thank you so much for bringing Normy into our life!
