Princess
Princess

Hi kathy. Thanks for reaching out to check on Princess. Princess adopted us and we couldn't be happier. She has adjusted since day one, full of energy and very expressive. Its very much fitting to her foster name. We now call her Princess Chanel. Though, it's only been 1 month officially yesterday, it seems she's always been part of the family...no measurement of time. She has an uncanny ability to draw you in with her expressive eyes...only to love. love. and more love. We follow Justin Bartlett on Facebook and recently went to the Halloween event. Princess Chanel won! She placed 1st place with her custom princess gown. She was thrilled and gets to have a mini spa day. Yay! Courtesy of Justin Bartlett and Petco. Thanks! I've attached some photos of her first day with the family, a few random, and Halloween event on 10/25. Thank you for saving her from harm and an opportunity for Princess to be a part of our growing family. Always. Rey, Sergio, Athena (kitty), and Princess Chanel (licks and kisses)

Pam
Pam

Hi Kathy, I have been following your facebook page since the day we adopted Cali (formerly Pam)!! When we first brought Cali home, she was just as Irene described, loveable but very skittish. If we let her onto the floor, she would be hiding behind the entertainment center, love seat, couch, bed or anywhere she could squeeze. We would let her be for awhile, then gently pull her out and cuddle her. Day after day she hid less and became more trusting of us all. We already had a large pet family before Cali joined us. Our current cat, Audrey, is a special kitty who has a pretty rough personality. She likes to hiss at people and occasionally claw and bite (never really hard, more of a bad way to communicate LEAVE ME ALONE!). While Audrey still has not accepted Cali as a companion like Cali wishes, she at least accepts her presence lol. She 'allows' her use of the litter box that they share (even though we provided two initially!) She allows her anywhere most of the time and just when Audrey is in one of her 'special' moods does she hiss and bat at Cali, to which Cali just shakes off and moves on. Of our 4 existing dogs, only our Chihuahua has made friends. Our pomeranians and jack russell still see Cali as a game of chase and catch....something she doesn't appreciate! So the dogs get one half of hte house, the cats get the other, which works well. However RAscal, our Chihuahua, made fast friends because he was also a rescue that had a VERY similar temperament as Cali. He used to be extremely skittish as well. They are great friends now, they cuddle, play and often have one-sided games of tag where Cali is usually the one tagging Rascal!! All in all, Cali is doing amazing now. We have had her for a month and a half so far and she is extremely comfortable with her new home. She sleeps in bed with me and often wakes me up early if her food bowl is close to empty. She has grown accustomed to her afternoon Fancy Feast treat. She is growing a lot too!! She has outgrown Rascal and is on her way to outgrowing Audrey! Her sweet personality and loving nature is just what we needed to balance out Audrey's rough personality lol. We are so thankful to have her in our home! I have sent pictures to Irene on her phone. Thank you again for trusting us with her, she is perfect for us! Rhonni

Pip
Pip

Hi Kathy. Pip is rename Midnight and she's living the life. She's happy, playful and loves to go for walks around the block. You should see her strut. She's come a long way from that timid little Pip I adopted. In the late evening, after dinner and a walk we lay down on the couch and watch TV. She only watches when there's a fog in the picture. Shell run up and bark at the dog on the tv. Otherwise she's content to be on me and doze till its time for bed. We've really bonded. I will send some pictures in a desperate email. Thanks for the privilege of letting me have her!

Ping
Ping

Hi Kathy, Ping, aka Doodle, has integrated himself into our hearts and lifestyle very well. We love the little guy. And, his big sister really likes him too. :-) He is such a good puppy. He chews on his toys, plays well with his big sister, and has just this weekend FINALLY got his poopie schedule so that it allows us to sleep through the night. :-) He loves to stand at the back fence and watch the ducks. He and his big sister do "NASCAR" in the back yard. He is curious about everything moving, especially leaves that blow against the ground and lizards. And he loves to "get loves" from mommy and daddy. He is not intimidated by anything ... he thinks he is a big boy! He had his first "spa" day with his big sister last weekend and they said that he was very well behaved. He got a bath, haircut, and toe nails clipped. Attached are 2 pics for your enjoyment.

Pringle
Pringle

Hi, in follow up, Pringle is now Colt. Colt is healthy and happy with his new pack. He is gaining weight and playing well with others. He and his closest brother and myself are moving to Illinois this February and he will have a big fenced in yard to run and play. I am attaching a picture of Colt and his brother Bruce.
