Maxwell
Hi Kathy,
We are having so much fun with our dog!
Maxwell's new name is Pretzel--he's named after a dog in a children's book. He is growing fast and the vet says he is the picture of health. He is doing a really good job working with our dog trainer, and we are working on his timidness.
I'll send along some photos soon, when I am connected to my photo hard drive.
Thanks,
Amy, Dan, Josh, and Adam
Mandy
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for following up with us. We love Mandy, who we renamed Sadie. Our other dog Penny enjoys having someone to play with. We attached some photos so that you can pass them on to her foster parents.
Sadie is very cuddly and affectionate, but we have been having trouble with her behavior. We have a feeling this is why her first owner returned her. This is not my first rodeo with training a puppy, but Sadie is proving to be a much bigger challenge. Does Justin Bartlett offer obedience training? If not, I think we will have to try Petco's classes because I am running out of patience doing it myself.
Sincerely,
Colleen and Steven Presley
Morgan
Hi Kathy,
Morgan, now Kobe, is doing amazing! Her and the other black lab mix with brindle paws that we rescued from Justin Bartlett's have become quite the typical brother & sister pair! I have attached some pictures. She is very smart (sometimes too smart for her own good lol) and was a breeze to teach basic commands to. She has a big backyard to run around in and a neighborhood full of other rescued doggies and she couldnt be happier. Thank you all so much! Recently, Morgan's biological brother's parents reached out to us and we are going to set up a play date. I will send pictures of that too (Unfortunately we dont have Facebook but maybe they do and can tag the rescue in it :) )
Again, thank you so much,
Gabrielle DePalma and Andrew Margolies
Marcy
Good Morning!
Thank you for the follow up! Marcy is now Dakota and is such a treasure, a wonderful addition to the family... we love her so much!
She could not be a better pup! She is well behaved, super intelligent, and such a love. We are so blessed to have her.
I have attached a few pictures.
I do not have a facebook account (one of the few who don't, shockingly) but if I did I would absolutely follow ya'll.
Again, thanks for the follow up.
The picture of me holding her is the day I brought her home...so tiny (at only 15 lbs).
The other is of her this am, lounging on the couch....almost 30 lbs and only 16 weeks old! My growing girl. :-)
Then a side by side....then and now.
Enjoy!
Mork
Since my boyfriend and I adopted mork it has been such a blessing, our little guy
now goes by Cooper and he's just a bundle of joy. He's a hyper, playful, friendly
puppy that just wants to play and be around people and other dogs. Adopting him was
the best decision that we could have made and he has been an amazing addition to our
little family. He's in great health and growing up so fast, it amazes me how much
personality such a little puppy can have. He loves swimming and running and going
fishing with his dad and uncle. Cooper is the best thing to happen to us and we
can't wait to one day adopt him a little sibling :) - Brittney and Chris
