Tiffany
Thank you so much for your email. Tiffany who has been renamed Tillie is
doing great. She is an absolute sweetheart. I have attached a picture of
her just chillin.
Tussin
Rocket (used to be Tussin) has become our family "baby". He is loved by all 5 of us but our 50 pound Rottweiler loves him the most. He is a sweet baby that just wants to curl up in a lap when he isn't roughing around with his "brother". We look forward to a long life with this little one.
Thank you!
The Bournes's
Tybow
I adopted Tybow who is now Sammy and could not love him more! Sammy has a 9 month
old brother Ziggy who is a kitten and they love playing and cuddling together. He
also loves to go visit my daughters dogs,a pit mix and lab mix, he loves playing
with them and they all get along great. Everyone loves Sammy,he is so
playful, loving, and sweet. I can't thank Marilyn enough for matching him with me!!
Here is a picture of Sammy and Ziggy sleeping together and one of him sleeping with
my daughters dogs
Thank you again!!
Michele
Twiggy
Good Afternoon Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue,
Ben and I have welcomed Twiggy into our home with arms wide open! She has
brought us so much joy and we love her as a part of our family. She has sat
in on work meetings with me and loves to run outside. She likes to take
naps during car rides and loves going to her grandparents house to visit.
She may be a dog but my parents spoil her like a grandchild whenever we
stop by and are always asking for the next time she can come over to visit.
Her bedtime ritual is to run around the house as fast as she can until she
gets so tired she goes to bed and sleeps through the night. We love tug of
war but more than that she loves to chew on her toys. Last checkup she
weighed in at 5.8 lbs and got her third set of shots. All the staff love
her because she is just so cute!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We will do our best to continue with
updates on her! You will always be a part of her story and we love that.
Twerp
Hi Kathy!
Thank you for contacting me to follow up on our baby! I'm so in awe
of the dedication you guys show this cause! I'd LOVE to share some photos
and updates!
For starters, we renamed "Twerp" when he came home. His name is
"Geronimo." (Haha) He didn't seem to know the prior name so it was an easy
transition. He's been a great puppy and is loving beyond belief! He's so
smart and to date we've been able to teach him "sit", "lay down", "no",
"drop it", "in", "let's go", "outside" and we're still working on several
others. (I've enlisted the help of a book called "Lucky Dog") He's
crate/pen training and so far has knocked that straight out of the park!
I have four children whom he simply adores and they couldn't be ANY
happier to have him. I have a 9yr old daughter whom suffers from Aspergers
syndrome and about the ONLY thing that can calm her down is Geronimo. She
has a fraternal twin sister who loves to read to him, and he lays quietly
in her lap while she does so. As well, I have ano 8yr old son with
hyperactive ADHD and Geronimo's high energy spirit runs the energy out of
him until they both pass out in the floor sometimes. (I'll supply a pic!
Ha!) My 14yr old son is his favorite and they play for hours! He's also
helping the most with training him. My partner, whom was the most reluctant
about taking on the responsibility of a new dog is ridiculously smitten
with him. She's singlehandedly already his "person"......besides me of
course. ;-)
He's already become a traveling dog as well. We went home to
Kenticky for 2 weeks over the holidays. A 15hr drive. And he blew my mind
at how simply amazing he was. We bought a pretty spacious carrier which he
laid out in and sleep for 7hrs at a time! Crazy, right??! This dog is a
dream!
I just want to think everybody at JBAR again for taking such great
care of our newest family member before we discovered him. He's brought
such joy and happiness to our home! Feel free to share ANY and ALL parts of
our update! Hope you guys had an amazing holiday!
Best regards,
Aretta Combs
