Champion
Hi Kathy! Champ is doing GREAT! He went to obedience training and has learned some basic commands, walk / heel on lead, and we are working on some of the more advanced commands. He is eager to learn and please, was house trained very quickly, and is a very easy dog to have around. I keep socializing him, and this training has helped me with him. Champ is a love bug and likes to give kisses. Every time I leave and come home it is like the first time, he is sooooo excited. Champ is an all around very happy guy, and velcro dog! He knows he was rescued! Just love him! :-) Here are some pics :-)
Captain America
Hi Kathy,
Captain American is doing great! He is very energetic and loving. We have had to go to the vet a couple of times and he has had a worm which is gone now and a little infection from his neutering. But he is on medication and doing fine. I have attached some pictures. He is growing! :) we love him and is a big joy to us.

Carlie
Hi there,
There are not enough words that my family and I can say about Macy! She is such a wonderful puppy and we have been blessed!
Macy has grown since she left her foster home (one month ago on Tuesday) She is not around 5 lbs. We thing she was around 3 when we got her and was 4.1 lbs at her last checkup. Her spay healed beautifully and she has settled right in here at home. Macy is 98 % potty trained! She has barely ever had an accident and is one smart puppy! She loves to sit on her bottom with her front legs and body in the air and wait for her food when we feed her! :) She has a sister, MaryKate, 7 year old sheltie and they get along beautifully!! They play and play and play and play. So funny to watch when they play tag and race to be the first on one of the dog beds. Macy also has a cousin named, Emmy, a 7 year old jack russell and another cousin named Izzie, a 4 month old Havanese. She sees them for playdates several times a week. She is very social and loves all people! Total snuggle bug and loves her crate at night and playpen when mommy can't be watching her during the day! We were waiting to see if she would shed since she is half jack russell and half Shiz thzu. None. She has a weekly bath and not a hair. So we are lucky!
Carly
I just wanted to take a moment to reply to your email and provide a status update on Carly. Since we adopted her at Pet-a-Palooza, we changed her name to Gracie, a name she now knows and responds to. Although we had a scare about some possible kidney issues (something I spoke to Debbie about and will hopefully be resolvable) Gracie is doing fine and has assimliated into our family quite nicely. She has become a loving member of our household.
Cooley
Hi Kathy,
Thank you so much for reaching out to check on little Cooley, "Fisher Freeman." We have had Fisher in our lives for almost a month now. It's been an eventful month. Had you of reached out to us 2 weeks ago we would have been singing a completely different tune then we are now... LOL
The first two weeks were very difficult for us adjusting to the puppy. Although we have adopted and raised puppies before, we have a 14 month old baby girl now, so it was a challenge getting accustomed to having a baby and puppy at the same time. There was one point where even considered calling to find a new home for the little guy because we were afraid we couldn't give him the love and attention he needed.
Now in the present day, this couldn't be more further from the truth. Fisher has adapted very well into our family. He is getting the hang of crate and potty training and also loves playing with his baby and older dog Bella. My wife Mara and I adore him and he has filled a hole in our hearts left by the passing of our beloved dog Charlie.
The only issue we are having with young Fisher right now is he growls and bites when you pick him up. He has also scratched the baby twice. We know he doesn't mean to do either thing and we have enrolled him in obedience school to try and curb this behavior. Other then that he is a true blessing in our lives and we are so happy we have him!
Attached are a few pictures documenting his time with our loving family thus far. I have captioned them each below. Thanks again for touching base and also for the wonderful work you do in our community! Let us know if we can ever help with tshirts, signs flyers or giveaways. We own a very large print company called www.WizardCreations.com and we give back a lot to charities in the area.
All the best,
Luke and Mara Freeman
